I've found that front rim jets are plugged or partially blocked.Take top of of valve, separate the body from tube and remove vacuum breaker and put valve and tube back together and carefully pour calci-solve thru top of valve body. Do not get on floor or outside of valve body. I've stopped using the 2.5 gallon flush and went back to 3.5 gallon flush I've han no more problems. It takes more water flushing it twice or three times that the 3.5 gallon repair kit.

it has been over tightened, . when you remove use right side of valve and put wrench as close to wall as possible and push toward wall. everybody wants to use left side and pull from wall.. I use a pair of 440 channel locks, and with careful use I do not leave marks on top.

Lift the top of and look. It will either be the flapper in the bottom is being held up by the chain or something, or the inlet valve is faulty. Flappers do wear out and warp. If you get 4 or 5 years you are lucky.

After typing this, you have a Flushmate in it. I would call a plumber!

Sounds like the flapper valve is not seating properly.
Lift the lid off the tank. Down at the bottom there is a flapper valve. Sometimes it can get stuck open, especially if someone has put a water freshener or other device inside the tank.

air chamber shock absorber ,wrong pressure take cap off adjusting screw and the big silver cap on top just screws off.

Absolutely not! Because these tanks have air pressure inside them, and you can hurt yourself or somebody else. You need to get new one... take a look here Amazon com Sloan Flushmate tank. I hope this was helpful. cheers
