Depends on how bad the damage is. You can use superglue, if it will hold. Sometimes you can use a small soldering iron to melt plastic parts back together. Use eye protection and do it in a well vented room though. You might need some plastic to secure joints. Use Airfix parts, or a pen top for the plastic infill.
Failling that, or if it's very bad (the damage) there is another solution on my Tip on headphones, click my user name to find it.

Whn i move the cable
The best answer that I can give you is that there may be a shortage in the wire. If possible, try not to move the wire around. Check to see if it is still plugged in. Hope this helps! I had a microphone hooked up to my computer and because of the foot traffic I was creating, the wire always can unplugged. Eventually the computer didn't recognize it and it stopped working. That's why you should probably find a desirable positioning for the cable before you start up your electronic device.

A picture (from digital camera or cell phone) would be helpful, but there's a good chance it could be repaired --- but to make a proper repair likely to hold up, you'd need to find someone who knows how to solder wires and/or glue back together any broken plastic hardware around where the plug wire became detached.

My headphone cable is broken. How do I replace
Buy a good Jack to Jack cable, open your headphone, find out where the two cables are soldered, unsolder them.
Cut one end of your new cable, remove the plastic aroud the 2 wires on a small lenght and solder your new wires where the old were.
Et voila.
Hope this helps
My headphone cord was cut
Hi, it all depends on where the damage was from, either from the top close to where the ear speaker is,or just from the body of the cord..
From the ear speaker area, you might need to do some soldering...
Get a screw driver, remove the forms from the ear speaker, unscrew the screws off, and open...if there is any cut wires, take the soldering iron and re-solder it... That will do..
If it's from just body of the chord area just get a sharp object, peal off the rubber surface covering the wires inside, and joint all cut wires, with color codes, and after doing this, use a tape to cover it up...And your done..
After all this exercise.still no sound, you will need to test if the ear speakers are working well and also you might need to replace your chord with another one...
Hope that helped.
