Shredder [FELLOWES DM17Cs] red with BIN OPEN - HWO DO I FIX IT?!
On my shredder, the light is always red when the bin is not in place--this prevents anyone from getting hurt by the machine when the bin is removed. It should turn green when you push the bin all the way into place.

Look for overload reset button. But what happened with a model I had is that the blades bent and rendered the shredder useless and not fixable.
