It is my understanding that when this happens to your screen, its done, over, trash, use to be, gone, finished, time to go shoping for another, the end.
Understand?

See as the unit is not starting up, you cannot transfer the data by connecting to a computer, The only option to take it to a sharp service center, where they can connect it to a different motherboard and try transferring the data.
Still i cannot guarantee if the memory chip has gone bad then it is possible to backup at all.

let me know .....

Thanks
K

The MENU option will appear in the display just above the directional cursor keys but only when the numeric keyboard is used.

The QWERTY text keyboard alternates with the NUMERIC keyboard when you touch the "2nd" mode key in the lower left hand corner.

Good luck.

Select the mode key with the image of the Clock/Globe.

Select the "2nd" mode key in the lower left hand corner to alternate between the QWERTY/TEXT keyboard and the NUMERIC keyboard. Choose the QWERTY/TEXT keyboard.

Select EDIT.

Use the the NEXT button to scroll through city choices until the city name is blank and enter the City and State you wish and press ENTER.

The cursor will then move through the remaining display choices for Date and Time and the keyboard will alternate as needed automatically. Press ENTER after entering the time setting.

Good luck.
