You need the cable that came with the wizard. I think it is a serial cable. Then you need the software that came o a disk with the device. Does not matter, what port you use, serial or USB you always first need to install the software before you can connect it to the computer and work with it. Hi Was the backed up version of the address book openable by WinXP or one of its programmes? If it was you may be able to run WinXP as a virtual machine on Win8.1, otherwise you need to find a programme which will open the address book file or import it in a form that makes sense. If it is frozen on all inputs, you likely have an internal problem. Try some of the other inputs to see if it will function using them. A weak DVT signal can also cause a frozen image on the screen, generally showing the last 'frame' received.

You can fix it by using code 16

It is a bit difficult to understand the actual operation you may be performing on the calculator. I am assuming you refer to change return amount after a transaction is finalised. Also refer to page 21 on ways of finalising a transaction. It might be worth doing a daily sales report to check if the system is keeping track of all the cash received and the change provided. If this is correct then check the programming of the transaction finalisation key.

Depends on your video chip on your motherboard, or on your video card, if you have one.

Just check if the audio signal cable is getting into the Sharp panel. If you are using HDMI then select the audio in to HDMI. I am unclear if your audio was previously coming in from the stereo or the cable box. If you have removed the stereo then you need to ensure the audio signal to the panel is stored. Not sure if this helps.
