What is causing Scotsman icemaker to moan
perhaps it's unhappy? I can't say i blame it, if I had to sit there all day in the freezing cold making ice I would moan too.
here's a list of possible problems
If it makes excessive noise:-
Problem and Likely Causes/ Probable Solutions
Fan blade vibrates Blade is bent Replace fan blade
Fan motor mount is broken Replace motor mount
Compressor vibrates Mounting loose Check mounting
Water pump vibrates Pump bearings worn Replace pump
Panels vibrate Mounting screws loose Tighten screws
and ice can groan as it expands, but that only applies to large icebergs

Scn 60 door
you can look to see if the rubber door seal is being pinched or is deformed, if so you can pour boiling water slowly on the seal all over and when its all hot close the door and let it cool in the right position...
Water comes into the machine
Hi
Please check the water inlet valve, it might be frozen or blocked
with mineral deposit. Use a hair dryer to remove the blockage. Make sure the
water inlet valve's screen is not blocked. If the issue persists, then the
water inlet valve has gone bad, use a multimeter to test the water inlet
valve's continuity. Use a multimeter to test the continuity. If that is fine then test the auger motor and replace if bad. Hope this
helps...please post back for further assistance.

Ice does not release
Might be some ice build up blocking something. Why not move the frozen good out of the way and grab a hair dryer for a quick thaw in the area of question. It can't hurt anything. Please be kind with a Thumbs up for me effort, Raz
The diagnostic light shows: Low temperature
The power required for the compressor can be provided either directly by a motor or indirectly by a belt or a gear drive. In these compressors, cylinder clearance volume, compression ratio, amount of suction superheat, valve pressure drops, and the refrigerant-oil characteristics are the main parameters which affect their efficiencies.
so get the motor checked it may be weak and so the diagnostic light shows: Low temperature discharge.
This will help. Thanks please keep updated.please do rate the solution positively .thank you for using fixya
Bin Full light stays on all the time
This is usually an indication that the photo eyes are probably dirty. They "See" across the opening where the ice drops through. If they are dirty, it registers as a fill machine.
A bin stat can cause the same problem.
The eyes and sometimes be a major problem finding them getting to them. On smaller machines like this one, it's hard to get your hands on them.
Good Luck and hope this helps.
