If you want to go manual: - Turn printer off - Hold feed/Cal button - Turn printer on while holding the feed button for 5 seconds aprox. - Your calibration will start when you let go the feed button.

Hello, In the past I have got that problem several times. The truth, it will always be better to use technology from this century. ;) The problem with adapters is that they are usually chinese and those drivers are horrible. I usually solve it by buying the most expensive adaptor on the store, which usually includes a Driver CD. The OS could be helping to make it even more difficult. If you have a Windows Vista, you will not have an easy time printing.

If your firmware is below 05.00.08.01 Then it won't get detected by windows 7. You will need firmware upgrade. Else, just go to www.satoworldwide.com and download the windows printer driver.
