My Sanyo rice cooker, ECJ-100S,10cups not cooking but has lights and clock working. What is the issue here? Do I need a new one? It is about 8years old.

That could be the element has failed or a control panel issue.Probably time for a new one as I think the element is moulded to the base of the pan and not replaceable.Did you check the thermal fuse.

How do I replace the battery on a Sanyo ECG-HC55S

Answers should be down here! --- Anonymous Jan 15, 2021 It's not easy. I've had mine apart, and the soldered on battery is between the main board, and the soldered on display board, so you'd have to de-solder the display board just to get at the soldered on battery. Another approach would be to solder on some wires to a new battery back if you knew the voltage (3.3?). Mine works well enough with the clock always wrong. --- My 2 cents. Batteries have to show voltage and the capacity in MAH. This is often hidden under shrink wrap. The battery will be rechargeable, so you can measure the voltage going to it. charge voltage is a little higher, say 3.2 volts on a 3 volt battery.

Sanyo SBM-10 Bread Maker is not kneading, but

Hi,
Take the pan out of the machine and see if you can turn the paddle by hand. If no then the paddle is stuck. If it turns freely then the drive belt in the machine fell off or is broken.
