Over The rang microwave installation

I would say finish the wall, because the microwave needs the space for cooling.

Door will not stay latched

Not all the electronics are in the door; probably just the low voltage timer/programmer/controller. If the appliance is under warranty you shouldn't attempt to repair it. Describing the noise as big isn't really very helpful. Considering this is a premium priced and complex appliance, it would be best not to attempt any repair but to entrust it to a repair shop, preferably an approved service shop, meanwhile disconnect it from the supply.

No Heat

First you have to disassemble the cover, then disconnect the transformer power wires. After that, connect a small electric motor, coffee grinder or mixer to the end of the wire, even an electric light bulb (all of this with the cord plugged out of the socket). Then fill the oven and turn it on for 1 minute at full power. If the electric motor starts or the bulb lights up, it means you have a supply voltage for the magnetron. This means that it burned and must be replaced.

F5 code on Kenmore Elite Microwave 721.86013010 is it the same as the Samsung SE codes?

It may be a humidity sensor code or a touchpad code. There should be a "mini-manual" (tech sheet) hidden inside the unit behind the control panel or hidden on the left side behind the grille, which is very helpful when troubleshooting, testing, and locating components. Samsung SMH1611 microwave clock/tImer is intermittently malfunctioning. Microwave will not count down.

This is often just a bad connection on the bottom of the noise filter board. Look for burns and ring cracks. See the attached photos. For disassembly info, you can watch the video at my site, or see these text files: http://www.microwavecontrol.com/safety.htm http://www.microwavecontrol.com/disassembly.htm If that doesn't fix it, it may be that the bottom door switch is bad, or its mount is loose, misaligned, or broken. See my help file on door switches here. Also see the Fast-Track manual for model SMH1611 here. Feel free to contact me directly (see below) if you have other questions. .- William E. I have samsung microwave model MW830WA 120V 60HZ 800W, i want to use it in India how to convert the power supply,

What is India's voltage? watts doesn't matter and there may be a range on the Hz. Most likely if the voltage is higher you will need a step-up transformer - external. replacing the internal transformer is not recommended unless you know exactly what you are doing and have the correct one. Compare prices to a new microwave there. If you are very lucky there maybe a voltage switch on the back near the power cord.

My Samsung microwave was giving SE error. I cleaned the contacts. Now it is showing E1 error with constant beep. Pl suggest remedial action.

Constant beep sounds like a bad microprocessor on the main time board. May have to replace the board.
