There are a few things to go wrong, you did not mention what's wrong. I suggest going to You Tube and type - ZIPPER REPAIR - there is lots of good step by step videos.

My 1st choice if you can't do it yourself is try a local Luggage only store at the Mall . They all should have repair contractors if they do not do it themselves. They may also be able to return it to Samsonite for repair.

My 2nd choice would be to try a local Automotive or Marine Trim Shop. They should be able to fix or replace any zipper. If it can't be fixed they will tell you so. Good luck.

This is a problem, but if you have a camera shop in your area, I suggest you consult with them. I haven't had any luck doing this previously because there are so many different quick release mechanisms and the sizes vary and they look exactly the same. If the shop can't help, go online to Samsonite and try for a replacement from them. If you don't know what it even looks're in big doo doo, but if you do know then you can find them by the look and then measure the sides and the distance from top to bottom (which tells you how big the slot needs to be). The problem there is that many of them are not listed by size but by the part number. If you can get that, it's much easier to look for one. I's ridiculous! for such a little but very significant piece of the tripod. Good Luck

same problem with the spinner model.
My suitcase is open but since I dont have the lock combination (3 digits) I can't close it (not lock it, just close the case) . The combination changed when the case was open - is there a way to reset it ?
