There are instructions with the case. They are safely inside, to prevent them getting lost.

Presumably it is a three digit code, so all you have to do is start at 000 and progress steadily towards 999. if you make twenty attempts per minute, it should take less than an hour. Unless, of course, the witch can do it by magic.
