Computer accessories least require drivers. observe the device for system compartibilities.

This is either a calibration error, or a faulty stick. Nothing else can cause this. make sure you have the latest drivers installed or one's that it came with. Some operating systems will see the stick and load generic drivers which sort of work, but not fully. Always use the manufacturers drivers and install it using the correct route as in the installation as there are ways to install drivers that do not register them properly and you think they are installed but are not. Good luck with it.

ditto hapend to me, call there support line or go to there webpage and get a replacement if under warranty if not the cord is around 5$ CAN.

have the same problem with my X52; cant get the rudder control (twisting control) work fine, but it goes on its own way to the right and can't be calibrated no way. this is my 3rd SAITEK X52 (2 X52PRO, 1 X52), and all I can say is: SAITEK IS THE WORST **** I EVER HAD IN MY LIFE.
