My Royal MX1600 shredder will only run in reverse when you press the reverse button. When you insert paper or press the forward button the fans start up but the cutters do not move.

Your forward gear is worn off where it connects to the drive gear. You will have to take it in. But how much did you pay for it it might not be worth fixing

Royal ht88 bought 7/09 stopped

I had a similar problem. My Royal HT88 Shredder would work intermittently. It would work best with small pieces of paper, about half the normal 8.5" width. I took it apart to check for jams and I noticed that the motor wasn't mounted securely to it's bracket. I tightened those screws and behold, it works just fine!

What type of battery does the Royal LD 60 EZ Vue use

I would look closely (magnifying glass or use camera) at both the cover plate and where the battery goes to see if there is anything there. Many devices will have a three character sequences that designates the type of battery.

Our Royal alpha 587CX will not print the end of week journal , also the programmed keys for calculating taxes for each clerk has stopped working. Can the programmed keys be restored?

If you have a program book, most cash registers have a total reset, sometimes unplug, program mode, hold down clear and plug in, Not sure on this Royal but remember you will loose all programs and totals, and you will have to reprogram...

How to load receipt paper for a royal 310DX

Let me try and do a better job....... This machine is so dreaded awful that it has been discontinued and the reviews are horrid, because of this there is no support. the best solution is typically find someone with it and ask them to share. Never the less I still spent more time looking for it. Because I want you to get what you came here for I did find a solution. Manufacturer Info 1.800.524.0799 its actually to the point this company does not acknowledge this item anymore and does not offer support.
