Partial Answer (maybe) If you mean that the Slides do not advance when you push the remote then You have the same problem I encountered on my Rollei P350A. I opened the projector and found that the Drive Belt between the motor and the Slide changing mechanism was broken. I actually found the black broken string in the Projector case. I did not fix my projector yet since I am looking for a replacement Drive Belt (posted question above a little while ago)

That is a good question since it is an older camera and the max included sd card is 64mb. If the formatting of the software reader at the time is compatible with more modern advances in sd storage, it "should" allow for a larger card, but I have seen some older devices that are only setup for the capacities at the time they were released for sale.

Suggest you put a larger card in the camera and follow the formatting instructions in the manual to see your device will format the card. If it can read the card and format, it will probably work.

These cameras are pretty rare so your chances of finding a spare back are slim, I did a search and found nothing, only 2 new cameras on ebay for more than $1000. A new camera might be your next option. They are made by Fujifilm so thats where I would look next.

SD cards have a slide switch along one edge. The position farthest from the metal contacts locks the card, protecting it from writes. The position nearest the contacts unlocks the card.

I can't fine any manual for this camera, but this could be caused, because your camera is in a macro setting. Juts look in the manual, how you could switch to the automatic mode with that camera.

The DA5 works with SD cards. Your 4GB card is actually an SDHC card. While it fits into the slot, it is electronically incompatible and will not work. You have to use SD cards, 2GB and smaller.

Your question seems to be mis-categorized under slide projectors, if you are asking about Rollei 35 SE camera, the lens will only retract if you cock the shutter with the wind lever, then press the button next to the shutter release and rotate the lens a few degrees.
