is it the proper amp it must be class D amp or bridgeable 2 or 4 channel. how do you have it hooked up?

yes you have burnt the coil up the rattling you here is the loose wire

cheaper to buy a new one for . i dont believe you can get a recone for them.

you shouldnt run it at 8 ohm it shows what ohms it can handle . to run it at 1 ohm you would need 2 subs to do this. and no i wouldnt run an 8 ohm sub on the amp.

usually marked but hard to see with red die. if cant see the die its the small post.

you cooked the coil in the sub when you see smoke you have clipped the sub. improper wiring probably the issue ohms must match gain must be set properly . if you had gain all the way up thats what did it.

sounds like you have the sub wired wrong this will put amp into protect mode, grounding can be an issue also.

Make sure the GAIN on the amp is not all the way up it is not a loud button. your amp should be tuned to your subs with the GAIN or on some LEVEL. if they are not matched you will clip the amp and subs and blow them.Is it in the proper sized box? is the amp able to run the sub at the ohm it needs to be run at and do you have the the ohm load correct on the sub. there is a lot to it. if your not familiar with it go to youtube and watch some videos there is some good vids there and will help you learn to wire a sub correctly i have enclosed a link easy to use. No. You replace the stock amp and substitute the new one in its place.

contact the company and get a list of authorized repair agents close to your location if there are none and it is out of warranty then find an accredited electronic repair shop and ask around to see if they have experience in your brand of unit

check the wires and the gain and volume nobs on the amp
