How to extend the battery life of Razor Scooter Batteries
You can extend the life of your scooter's battery if you take proper care of it. Most people report trouble in getting more than a year or two out of their
razor scooter battery set. This is actually a common problem with vehicle batteries.
- Keep your battery charged
It is recommended to keep your battery fully charged to avoid the build-up of
sulfate-ion inside it. Sulfate-ion accumulates when the battery is in a discharged state for a long time. This is the most common reason of premature depletion of lead acid batteries. This can be easily avoided if the scooter battery is kept in a constantly charged state.
- Charge you Razor Scooter Battery during the Off-Season
Even if not used Sealed Lead Acid Batteries will self discharge over long periods. This will leave the battery in a not fully charges state which will enable the sulfate-ions to build up inside the internal plates which will slowly deplete the battery's capacity. In order to prevent that, you should charge the razor scooter battery at least once every three months when it is not in service.
Battery Tender chargers are a great way extend the life of your SLA batteries as they are designed to fully charge and maintain a battery at proper storage voltage without the damaging effects caused by trickle chargers.

Charger works unit when switch is on. When disconnected it will not show any green light to go no throttle engagement.
I have no experience with the E-300 though the circuits are similar,
as shown by the link below.
Could be the battery.
Put the Scooter on a block so the rear tire is raised. Remove the standing plate to reveal the battery compartment.
Charge the Unit completely
1. Using a multimeter measure the voltage across the batteries. If the voltage is below 20 volts batteries are dead - Replace batteries.
2. Now for a running test. Turn the throttle and spin the rear tire to preform a kick start. Still measuring the voltage. If the voltage is Below 20 volts or if the voltage drops quickly batteries are dead - Replace batteries.
3. If the voltage is remaining around 24 volts for a long period - then you could have connector problems, clean and tighten all connectors.
I use a fiberglass electronic cleaning brush, as contact cleaners leave residue that interfere with electrical connections.

Wont start razor e300
On my eZip 1000 scooter, in front of the battery pack, there is a compartment that houses the controller & assorted connectors & wiring. There is also a plastic housing that contains 2 fuses. Check, inspect & test the fuse(s) with an ohm meter for continuity. If all other components are functioning normally, it's probably the fuse(s) that need replacing. Hope this helps.

How to reset the razor E100 ?
There is a reset button by the on/ off toggle switch I believe. Also, the e100 needs to be pushed to about 2.5 mph before it will go on its own power.

Razor ground force go cart
I don't think this would be a problem, as long as the wheels fit the axle properly, both in diameter, and length of shaft.
How to put air in tire of e300 razor
- rotate the rear wheel until the hole in the sprocket lines up with the tyre valve.
- insert the tyre valve extension through the hole and attach it to the tyre valve
- inflate the tyre to the correct pressure (usually 45psi)
- remove valve extension and put in a safe place for next time.
Inflating the rear tyre is detailed in the owners manual, which you can download from the Razor web site.

How do you replace the chain tensioner on a Razor E300
Theres an 8mm nut holding it onto the pin that goes thru the frame.
Take that nut off and remove the tensioner. Put some grease on the new pin where the tensioner goes. Put the end of the new spring into the hole in the frame next to the pin hole. Hold the tensioner in place and put the pin thru and the nut back on. You should be able to get the chain back on the sprocket without loosening the axle nuts. Hope this helps.

My e300 razor run but will not move
Check to see if the chain is moving when you apply throttle. If the chain is not moving but you can hear the motor working then it is likely the chain has come off the motor sprocket. If this is the case then follow the steps in the user manual to refit the chain and adjust the tension.
