Will this lense work with a Canon Rebel T31 ?

Quantaray makes their lenses with a variety of mounts. A lens with a Minolta mount will not fit onto a Canon camera. A lens with a Canon mount will work just fine on a Canon camera.

Are there any problems usig a Quantaray PZ-1 DSZ flash with the Nikon D3100?

There is no problem with the trigger voltage, which I assume is your primary concern. You may not get all of the features you would with a Nikon flash, but you should be able to use it with the D3100 just as you use it with the N80.

IS THE 28-90mmF/3.5-5.6 FIT THE CANON REBEL XTI

Since you already have a Quantaray lens, you should know that Quantaray makes lenses with a variety of mounts. A lens with a Pentax mount won't fit a Canon camera, for example. As long as you get the lens with a Canon mount it will fit the XTi just fine.

Will a quantaray AF LD 55-200mm lense work with a 2X teleconverter?

Well, this teleconverter would act as a magnifier to your lens. If you get a 2x teleconverter, it will double your zoom. so you'd then have a 110mm-400mm lens. The teleconverter is attached to your camera first, then the lens on to the converter. Make sure if you get a teleconverter that it's an autoteleconverter. Which means that it will allow you to still use autofocus. I would also make sure you get a name brand that has good glass because some converters will tint your images to a yellow ish haze that would require a whitebalance adjustment. Quantaray lense wont work on nikon D50

David - The lowest setting is the highest number; f22 is lower than f4. It's little counter-intuitive, but the lowest setting means the least amount of light - or the smallest aperture opening - not the numerical "f" value of the opening. Simply twist the aperture ring until the highest value "f" number is selected. Many lenses have a small tab or latch to lock them in this position - if yours does, you can use it to prevent this from happening again. You would use a command dial on most camera bodies to electronically change the aperture opening.Good luck!

What is the purpose of an R2 filter?

Each filter intensifies its color and darkens others, especially the color opposite on the color wheel. They're not of much use in color photography, unless you want weird color casts, but they come into their own in black&white photography. For example, a red filter intensifies red and darkens blue. It can make a sky look almost black, making clouds pop out. Similarly it can darken foliage. A green filter on the other hand will brighten foliage. If your camera can take black&white photos, try taking pictures of a red rose with green leaves with and without the filters. With one combination the rose and the leaves will be the same shade. With a red filter the rose will be bright against the dark leaves. With a green filter you'll get a dark rose with bright leaves. With digital photography you can achieve the same effect in postprocessing, but some times its easier to get the result in camera.

How to mount Quantaray 70-300mm F/4.0-5.6 Zoom Lens in Sony Alpha DSLR?

This 3rd party lens (like all of them) makes lenses specifically to fit Nikon, Canon, Pentax, Minolta, etc. camera body mounts. Each has a style mount that is unique. You can not simply mount a lens made for use on a Nikon body on a Sony body. In order to use this lens, it MUST be the model designed for use on a Sony camera. Functionally, the lens will be nearly identical on any camera it is designed to fit, only the mount (the portion that actually mates to the camera body) differs from one lens to the other. If you bought this lens without specifying it needs to be used with a Sony camera body (and it is for a different camera) it will NOT mount. Determine if the lens is indeed designed for a Sony camera body. You may find additional letters & numbers on the lens that can help you determine which camera body brand it fits by plugging the number into Google for a search. Additionally, the Quantaray brand is / was a Ritz Camera "house" brand. You could probably bring it to one of their stores and learn all you need to know about the lens there. Good luck!

Quantaray QDC-900WA

Quantaray appears to not be a company at all It is affiliated with Ritz Camera and neither Quantaray nor Ritz actually manufacture anything.

The Quantaray SLR lenses are made in the Sigma factory. But many feel that they are not equal to the Sigma branded lenses.

I haven't found the maker of the flash units, yet. I should learn more this evening. An interesting mystery.

In here, you can find the User Guide for Quantaray 900 for Nikon TTL Flash

Good luck.

I recently obtained a used Quantaray for Nikon 500mm f8 f/8 Mirror lens. I have a Nikon d3000 and I am not sure how to attach it to my camera.

For Nikon AF and manual focus SLRs. The compatible T Mount System makes it possible to use most any single lens reflex camera in combination with various front camera attachments such as telescopes, mirror lenses and slide duplicators. The T Mount is a metal connector that screws onto the compatible front attachment and allows this combination to be coupled to the SLR camera lens mount.
