Hello! my problem is that
You will need to get a usb expansion card. These can be found at Best Buy, Newegg.com, tigerdirect.com, pc-connection.com etc...
Some manufactures ship with newer motherboards a usb expansion slot using the motherboard jumper configuration but your motherboard must first be able to support this type of expansion.
I recommend the pci usb expansion. They plug into your PCI slot and give you 2-4 extra USB slots in the back of your computer.
What's the max capacity for ram on 600 mhz AMD
Download the manual for *********** board and it will tell you. If you are running windows 32bit I think the max usable is 4GB. If you are running a 64 bit OS then then it is more. The manual will give you max ram per slot and what slot to put them in.
USB PORTS
OMG, ANOTHER HORROR STORY OF CUSTOM BUILT COMPUTERS! THE THINGS PEOPLE DO WITH THESE COMPUTERS, THEY SHOULD HAVE TO WORK ON THEM. I'M REALLY SORRY YOU'RE HAVING PROBLEMS, AND NOT KNOWING THE COMPUTER MAKE I'M GOING TO SUGGEST TRYING SOMETHING THAT MIGHT SOLVE YOUR PROBLEM. YOU SAY THE USB PORTS WERE HARDWIRED TO THE MOTHERBOARD AND THEY ARE ON. THIS MIGHT BE THE PROBLEM. HAVE YOU TRIED TO TURN THEM OFF AND THEN INSTALL THE USB CARD AND REBOOT? SEE IF THE COMPUTER WILL RECOGNIZE THE NEW USB CARD IN THE SLOT INSTEAD. THIS MIGHT DO THE TRICK. HAVING THE HARDWIRED USB TURNED ON WOULD CAUSE A CONFLICT WITH TRYING TO INSTALL ANOTHER USB CARD. ALSO, HAVE YOU TRIED USING A USB MINI-HUB INSTEAD? POSSIBLY THE MINI HUB MIGHT BE AN EASIER SOLUTION, SINCE THEY SELDOM NEED ANY SOFTWARE ETC. TO FUNCTION. I HOPE THIS GIVES YOU A COUPLE OF IDEAS TO TRY AND POSSIBLY SOLVE THIS STICKY PROBLEM. IF YOU NEED MORE HELP JUST REPLY TO:

What processor is better than 3.46 d celeron processor, for upgrade?
The fact about processors is that generally u will end up with changing the entire chipset because the new processors generally dont fit with old chipsets. If you are ready to shell out some extra money, you can choose the latest range of "Intel Core2 Duo" series or even go to the Quadcores.Post your budget and i will suggest a suitable one.
Mother board
No the chipset is something that not even an experienced tech with the proper tools want to try.
you will need the same replacement board for windows to be happy. if you change board models you'll have to reload windows.
