The power supply is working but it is possible that there is no supply to the SUB WOOFER amplifier. It is important to remove and open the unit to probe and confirm.It can be failure of the inline fusible due to a faulty output driver.Finally check the subwoofer using a AA cell.

If there is power to the woofer then a signal input must power the woofer to work. So feed a test signal or a audio siignal from a DVD and if there is no output then the AMPLIFIER section had faults.
Unless the sealed unit is opened it cannot be tested to confirm if the output , the input to the AMP or the power supply has failed.
Check if there is power to the output section to confirm.

dude i have the same problem, im most likely going to attempt to make a shallow box that i can put behind the back seats firing forward. as far as wiring with the s10, half the fun is figuring it out if it works ill let you know...

Pull the speaker and check the coil with a meter. Should read 8ohms. chances are you have a burnt voice coil. They have a 2 year warranty on subs.

with nothing connected and the sub turned on....Most subs buzz when the circuitry starts to fatigue. The last time I heard this ..the repair ended up being one of the two fat capacitors inside the sub. I have a means of testing this,,you may not. I am a repair shop with a bit of experience in component level board repair.

I too am looking for the solution, I'm hoping I have the wrong power cord which is sending too much power to the sub, my next attempt will be to just up the AMP on the fuse b.c hey it's broken anyway

Check the fuse which tends to blow frequently.

Are you using the charging cables that came with it? That is a type C. Are you securely attaching the charging cable? A loose connection would keep the battery from charging. If you had a low battery, you would see a red light. That you have no light at all suggests there is no charge left in the battery. I'm not sure the reset will work with no charge which is why you ought to check the cables first. But turn it off and then hold down the Multifunction button for 10 seconds to reset it. Then turn it back on and see what happens. If you can, test the charging cable on aother device. If you have another type C charging cable, try it, just to eliminate a bad cable.
