Nice amp.....the lights are turning on? Did you double checek that all speakers and connections are properly hoooked up. If you are getting power and have a proper ground, there should be no issues. Ensure all other wires are hooked up (to and from your deck, speakers etc.)

This could be due to one of a couple things:
- Speaker wires shorting out against each other (or the speaker may be shorted out itself)
- Not enough current coming through the power wire (check power connection, ensure you are using big enough wire, i.e. 4awg)
- Not grounded well enough (check ground connection, make sure chassis ground is against bare metal and solid)

I have a bamf 5500

you probably have a blown sub(s) that short out when the volume is turned up. it would be a good idea to find out which one(s) is bad and replace it. sooner or later it may make the amp go bad if not replaced or removed.

Ov4-1600 When i play at loud

If you are 100% sure that you have checked all the wiring, this is usually due to not enough current reaching the amp. Make sure you are using the right size power wire (4awg) and that the power and ground connections are solid. This could also be due to a bad ground to the chassis.

Hi, are you using the blue wire from the head unit to turn on the amp? The turn on voltage is more like 5 volts--not battery voltage, so you have to use the blue wire to turn on many amps.

Unfortunately it's not that simple : the drive lock is done thru an electronic command - the player gets this information from the ECM, not just a simple Park wire.
To make it work the entire wiring of the player must be modified - a fiddly job that must be left to a pro shop (if you can find one that is willing to do it - illegal and severely punishable). Unless of course you want to do it yourself and risk frying the entire electronics of the car.

The low frequencies adjustment is

check the rca cables on the back to see if you might have the sub woofer cable in wrong rca spot

this is how it should be wired from your radio front output a set of rca cables go to the radio input of the eq. if you have sub out on radio it will not be used ... eq takes place of it ... turn off subout on radio ... to use eq or preamp you must have at 2 amps 1 for mids and tweets and 1 for subs to work eq right

then from the eq you have another set of rca cables comming from the front output to your mids and tweet amp and then if you dont have a second amp u wont need rear output move over to the suboutput and run a set of rca cables from eq's sub output to sub amp this is how the audio cable section should be connected if you still dont get it to work proper then then it has a electronic issue and need to warranted out if still in warranty or buy new one .... here is a link to the install manual with a wire diagram for repair shop .....http://www.poweracoustik.com/pa2006/manual%20and%20catalog/Processors/PWM-20.pdf

The green light on my amp doesn't turn on.

You need to check Constant power, Ground, and also the remote turn onwith a 12v power
if all this seems fine then it seems like your amp is damaged

PS
check the fuses right next to the amp that might also fix it
