How do i determine if my computer has a builtin
check your computers device list. If you have a PC then go to your desktop and right click on "My Computer" select Manage. within the list that comes up, select devices and see if you have anything listed in the right frame for a mic under audio.

Wireless Microphone low volume
The PGX1 bodypack has a switch on the side to set the gain. Make certain that switch is in the "mic" position. Otherwise, simply turn up the volume on your mixer.

Hi everyone, i am a vcliast and have been singing
The speakers MUST be in front of and pointing away from the microphone.
I don't know what you mean by "crystalized" as that mic is a dynamic type.
If the speakers are in back of you you WILL get plenty of feedback. If you must run that way, then you need an anti feedback processor. The device shifts the pitch slightly so that feedback can't occur.

turn up the volume first.
does it make a click noise out the speakers or show a reading on your mix etc when you switch it on.
if it doesnt then the switch could have gone, other than that i've only ever repaired 2 mics before & they both had doggie switches so i carn't really say more than that. sorry mate.

I bought a MXL 990 USB, and I cannot connect it to
Make sure you've switched your sound input from the default (internal mic/input) to the MXL 990. This should be somewhere in the sound options.
If you're sure it's not getting power, you need to send it back.

How do I find out if my computer has a built in microphone?
Built-in Microphones are relatively new and my guess (without knowing your computer) is that it doenst have one. But you can glance over the area around the screen and check if there's any holes which would be indicative of a mic. Hope this helps!
