If the safe is open start at 1, if not remove the front key pad panel by undoing the 2 screws and remove so the open sound sounds. 1:Press and hold the * star button until a tone sounds.
2: Enter the new pin number
3: Press # FINISH should show on the read out.
replace the keypad panel and your done.

I don't have a solution, but my daughter also received this as a Christmas gift and while most of the markers worked at first, after only a few uses they have stopped. If you get an answer, I would like to hear it.

They stop working because they are made in China for $5. They are not normally repairable apart from changing batteries. If you want to get inside, it will be through the base. Probably screws hidden under felt.

Probably stolen property, the person you bought it from would know the password, ask them for it or return it to the shop you purchased it from for a full refund.

sale of goods act: item must be fit for use, no password is not fit for use!
