Not if your machine is locked to Region 4! It's possible there may be a region hack for your machine, have a look on www.videohelp.com and go to the hacks section.

To see if it will play try to borrow a region 1 disc. If it does not play, then you'll only be able to play Region 4 discs only.

the region code means the player does not support the disc your playing each country is given a region code for dvd australias is region 4 if you buy a dvd from another country it wont work you can get multi region codes for dvd players im not sure of pioneers code but try using a dvd from your country region and youl find it works just fine you can also try asking a tech on fixya for the multi region code for the model dvd player you have.

Check your remote, try and see if you can find where you can default of restore first memory of your set. i think that will help........

This is a common issue and it indicates the laser pickup is near end of life, replacement only option, not cost effective to repair.

so long as its not a burned disc, in which the copyrights may have not transfered, it should work. However, try another blu-raydisc in player, if that works, its is the format of the disc. ask someone you know if they have the casino royale blu-ray and try their copy. try to isolate the issue as to the disc or player, if its the player, then contact the mfg. tech support.

Your computer may not have a blu-ray disk drive. You need to install one in order to watch blu-ray movies on your computer. Hope this helps, good luck.

As long as you have a HDMI port you should be able to use it. If you have only one, you won't be able to have any other player plugged in. The firestick doesn't care if the port it is plugged into is labeled 1 or 2 or 3

Each region has a code and if there is any way that u can set it to 0 then all DVD's will be playable...................deepfix

first is to hear if sound is there when a DVD etc is connected to one of the rear audio and video inputs on the set.Also check speakers in the set are in menu switched ON and not OFF.If a cable box, sat box, receiver are in use check their settings for sound also==not a bad idea to unplug each unit and then after a few minutes plug each back (set , box, etc) to allow each to try to boot up.Let me know what you find.
