Several things can shorten the life of bulbs. It could be a factory defect, the filament is receiving too much voltage, physical shock while the filament is heated, vacuum leaks in the bulb seal or base. Suggest try another brand preferably heavy duty.

sounds like the eliment has gone hard to get parts i am looking for user manual for this model

If you have a multimeter I would FIRST turn off the power and disconnect the heating element and do a continuity check on it. Phillips elements are not all that durable, so that is probably the problem, but it could be the thermostat or switch also. Some Phillips also have thermofuses that seem to blow for no aparent reason.

Either the temperature sensor has a problem (shorted so the control thinks the oven is colder than the actual temp) or a relay feeding the bake or broil element is welded shut and causing one of the elements to stay on. If the elements are still heating when the "ON" indicator is NOT lit, then you have a welded relay. You need the control board repaired.

If the fan is working o/k, then it is more than likely that the oven element has failed.
This is to be found at the rear of the inner oven compartment behind a removeable cover.
