Radio code Renault scenic 1999

You need to remove the radio from the dash and find the serial number on a label at the back - visit this page for exact details of what numbers you need to find on the label. That site is also highly recommended as best on the Net for retrieving Renault codes for a small administration charge of only 5.99Thanks for using FixYa.Thanks for using FixYa.

Lost radio code

First make sure that the code has not been noted somewhere within the car (underneath the ash tray, glove box , rear of sun visor etc)

To see if your code is available here  for free then the radio will have to be removed from the dashboard (and if you are lucky, someone may have written the code on the casing ) .

If not then POST A NEW  QUESTION

quoting the radio MAKE+MODEL plus ALL the LETTERS+NUMBERS on ANY LABELS ,BARCODES or STAMPED IN THE METAL CASING

Also quote the MAKE of CAR

note: Unfortunately not all radios can be decoded using the Serial Number

Otherwise try your Main Dealer ...........or take it into a Decode Service who will plug in a laptop to read/recode the memory chip (EEPROM). This takes a few minutes and shouldn`t be too expensive

Hi, I need to find

Hi,

You will need to get the papers that came with your car, search all the documents that came with the car, the code to reset your car radio is written on one of the documents that came with your car. If you cannot get it, you will need to get the serial number on your radio and contact the dealer for the reset code, because, the dealers have the reset code, but you will need to tender prove of ownership before this can be done.
