How can I stop my dog from shaking when giving basic commands like 'lie. I am sure it is anxiety/attention

Give your commands in a soft tone of voice. Do not scold the dog when they do not react to your commands. Start with simple commands like sit and come. Reward the dog by giving him a treat or saying "Good boy" and petting him. Soon, the dog will obey all your commands.

Please help me, I am about to have my two Labs (two females 3 years old) put down because. of the damage they cause by digging holes. How must I treat that behavior to stop the digging? Please help

Please, do not have these dogs "put down" I'm not even trying to be all animal rights person... But come on. That's a bit harsh. They are just being DOGS! Dogs someone else would love. And no hard feelings, if anything props to you for trying to get rid of them. If you have Facebook, post it on there with a pic maybe, & let people know how serious you are about getting rid of them ASAP. Oftentimes, on facebook, if you search for your towns name and "garage sale" you can get rid of almost anything on there & fairly quick. Check out the other options first please.

Is chocolate bad for dogs

deadly for dogs as it contains a toxin that destroys the liver and kidney functions however having said that a small bit like a 1/4 square occasionally will not affect them but to give a dog a full easter egg or a full block will have you at the vet or saying good by to the pet dark chocolate is the most deadly of all

How to treat hematomas on the legs

Depending on the severity and location of the hematoma, a veterinarian may treat it differently. A small hematoma can be drained, but there is a high risk that they will fill again within a few days. In many cases, surgery under anesthesia may be recommended to drain the blood, remove any clots, and suture across the area so that there is no space for blood to gather. A drain may be implanted for a couple weeks to keep the area from filling again. With prompt treatment, a hematoma is unlikely to return and there should be little damage.

I did a sirloin roast in the power xl for 35 min and it was tough as nails. put it back in for another 30 min and still to tough to eat My dog is very happy.

Hi! First off I always always brown my roasts before I cook them weather it be in a pressure cooker, slow cooker, etc. When using a pressure cooker, after browning the roast (season the roast while browning it) put it into your pressure cooker along with whatever other ingredients you have, cook it for 45 minutes @15 lbs of pressure. Mine comes out tender every time. Hope this helps ??

When a dog has cushings disease can it kill them

I had a dog with Cushing's disease and the symptoms were that she was ALWAYS hungry and drank TONS of water. I treated her by going to the vet and getting medication that killed back the tumor that was causing her to make too much cortisol which is a stress hormone. It was not real expensive. If you do NOT treat the dog, the trunk of its body will get fat and its legs will get weaker and weaker. The most straight forward answer to your question is: A dog with Cushing's disease does have a serious disease that will likely kill them, but they will not die immediately. I hope this helps!

Is Beneful dog food poison to dogs?

Take a look at this link on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/groups/Is.BENEFUL.killing.DOGS/?ref=nf_target&fref=nf It killed 2 of my dogs before I found this group, my last dog was saved by getting him off this poison! Even my vet hadn't heard of it yet. The chemical is the same used in anti-freeze. My vet even asked me if they could have gotten into any anti-freeze. Horrible what it did to them. There is a class action law suit against them now. BE SAFE JUST DON'T FEED IT TO YOUR PETS! I'll never buy another Purina product again.
