Would olympus software work with a pentax camera
It depends on what you want the software to do with the camera. If you simply want to download the pictures then any photo cataloging program such as
Picasa will do the job.If you want to edit your photos, photo editing programs don't care where the photos came from. You can use any photo editing program, such as
PhotoShop or
the GIMP.

Sounds like a memory card problem. Try using A 512mb San Disk SD Card. Not a San Disk SDHC card. see if that doesn;t help you out. Good-Luck
PROBLEM WITH PENTAX OPTIO E10
Sounds like battery life is gone. If there rechargeable batteries they might not be holding a charge anymore.
If your camera has a power cord that plug into your camera to charge the battery does it do the same thing?
If it doesn't have a power cord, what happens when you plug the camera into your computer?
How to unlock card in pentax optio Says Card
Hello
OK, if the memory card itself is locked, you might
sometimes get this error code. All you need to do is to take out the
memory card and switch the lever on the left side to the unlock.
If
the error is still displayed after you did the above, you might want to
try the card in another camera.
If
the card works in another camera . the problem is with your card reader
in your camera.
If you open you sd slot and look inside with a
sharp light , you should be able to see on the left side of the slot
there is a little copper or spring steel lever switch. This switch work
as follows:
1. When no card is inserted / no write protection ,
the switch is open and thus the protection is off.
2. When locked
card is inserted , the tab is depressed and tells the camera that the
card is lock.
Contrary to popular belief ,the little tab on the
sd card is not an electronic switch and does not physically influence
the card operation itself. If you put a locked card into a camera
without a sd lock switch , you would still be able to use the card
normally.
It is incredible difficult to fix this switch because
of space limitations in the sd card. Look into the sd slot and if you
can see the switch , use a needle to pull the little tab down toward the
base of the camera by about 2mm or until it works being careful not to
bend it.
If this does not resolve your problem , there might be a
short in the switch circuit and the camera will need to be disassembled
to resolve this error. This should cost no more than $50.

Which sd cards with higher capacity is available
A 1GB card is much larger than a 16MB card. That may be your problem. Most consumer point-n-shoot cameras would not be able to address a 1GB card. Try using a smaller-capacity card like a 4MB and see if it won't work.
Your owner's manual will tell you what size cards work with your camera.
Samsung S630 camera says "low battery" then shuts off
You might want to try cleaning the battery contacts in the camera. I usually use a q-tip and rubbing alcohol (not too much, just moisten the tip a little). After doing so, blow in to the camera a couple of times to remove any leftover q-tip fibers and/or alcohol. This happens to me all of the time - the contacts can get a little corrosion/patina on them (even new after manufacturing and storage) that is hardly visible. Good luck.
Power surge
Connect the camera whilst it is switched off....then when you power on...it will ask if you want to connect via PC or bridge....if that still throws up power surge...you need to use a different cable as the power ballast on the cable is faulty. It is much easier to just use a card reader....cheap off eBay.
