How do I reset forgotten password on Pelco dx4140 Dvr?
Best thing to do is call the manufacture and they will assign you a generic code and you can take it from there

Why does my color quad processor show images in black and white?
Without more information to go on I would say that it is in low light condition. If this is equipped with night vision that it records in black and white in low light situations. The recording feature on the DVR may also be the cause. Make sure you are set to record in color.
