No. These cameras store images in a JPEG format (PV-SD5000 can also store images in the TIFF format) and can be used with any software package that can open a JPEG or TIFF image.

Windows® 2000

Yes. The PV-SD5000 driver will be available in the near future on our Software Downloads page of the digital imaging website. For the PV-SD4090, the Windows 2000 device driver can be downloaded off of our digital camera Web site, directly from our Software Downloads page.

The focus ranges for the PV-SD4090 is 20 cm to infinity. The focus ranges for the PV-SD5000 is 30cm to infinity, and 6cm to 50cm in macro mode.
