If you want to get WiFi, the only WiFi SD card available for the T5 is the Palm WiFi SD card. No other WiFi card compatible. The SD card fits into the SD slot, but the card is longer than standard SD cards, so part of it extends out of the slot. This is the antenna for the WiFi radio. Also, you must install the drivers for the card or else it won't work properly. Drivers are available for free download at Palm's site. Linux will not work either without the card, sorry.

Hi Tracy, Palm creates a backup file of your data so you can restore that file as long as you have not tried to sync your calendar again (that would create another backup file that would be blank. Software is available for accidental erasures on hard drives. There may be some for your equipment. Check with the manufacturer or google it.

Just put palm pilot instructions into google, preferably with your pilots model number and it'll take you to the Palm Piolt site where you can download a pdf of the relevant manual. If you REALLY need to register your T/E, checkout Palm Registration . I should warn you that (1) your unit was made about a decade ago, so it's out of warranty, (2) Palm is no longer in business, (3) HP, Palm's successor, wouldn't honor such warranties, even if it was still in effect, and (4) that registration link I posted will probably only get you on the mailing list from Heck. Though Palm PDAs are considered "legacy" by their new "supporters", HP, there is a download site for your Tungsten. Note that while HP seems to have forgotten that there was an "E", and only mention the E2, the Palm Support Palm Tungsten E2 Palm Desktop 4 1 4 and HotSync Manager... download should work... providing you are using the right OS on your computer. XP is listed in your owners manual, Vista usually works, Win7 is really dicey unless you bought one of the reconditioned/customized Tungstens that have become available over the internet lately, and win 8 might really become a deal-breaker. Hello, Sometimes you can find a power plug for sale on the web. But you have too put in the model and manufacturer to find the right one. If not, then you will have too go back to the manufactuers cust. support to get power plug.

Older palm products and vista aren't compatible. You either needs to transfer info via bluetooth or upgrade your palm if you wish to continue using vista.
