Recently i updated my pc to windows 10.Now i want to go back to windows 7.my pc has a recovery image of windows 7, but i cant run it.i tried f8 f9 f10 when boot up,but didn't work.please help

How long ago did you upgrade to Windows 10? If it was less than 30 days, boot up normally and then click Start. Select Settings and then Update and Security (at the bottom of the list). Select Recovery. There should be a link for Go back to Windows 7. Select this and click the Get Started button. (Note: if you cleaned up the System files or deleted the Win7-Recovery folder, this may not be available.) Unfortunately, the original Recovery image from your manufacturer can't be accessed. The system redid the master boot record information during the upgrade. The only other way to revert the system is if you have a backup (including recovery media) on an external hard drive or series of optical discs. If you obtain a Windows 7 license and disc, you could do a clean install of Windows 7. These are still sold from many computer shops and Amazon.com . I hope this helps. Cindy Wells
