Open it up and look for the typical CR2032 3V battery located on the mother board. If it has one, then that's the CMOS backup battery.

Certainly the battery can be replaced and if you are confident you should be able to find a helpful YouTube video. If you aren't feeling confident your local phone doctor will be pleased to oblige.

It is normal that Windows reports programs as not responding when it try to close the computer. If all program is reported as not responding and the computer do not close at all, then it sounds like a serious problem. I would reinstall my Windows even though it is boring.

we have no PB PCs in USA (not since PB went bankrupt 1999 ) nor did you even tell what kind of account it is,of 1billion on earth. no country stated by you at all. all hopeless lacking key facts like that. what country? (you bought the PC) what account? what does not work, my guess some online accounts dead?

we in the USA (fixya is that) do not have any PB here. zero. a table has the battery sealed inside. to replace it we split the cases just like on newer cell phones, using special plastic pry bars to do that. use youtube, and search, "dismantling a table pc" endless endless examples, learn to youtube or learn to use your PB support page for your unstated country. I can not guess your country and nobody ever tells it. why , IDK , but is silly. google "Packard bell , your country name , + support) the login there and register your PC and ask for help.

what did it have before this, w7? and did it run ok? did you check with PB first to see it will run w10 w10-32bit? or 64? I first test the hDD first, using smart utilities first. no OS loads onto any bad hdd. are you in UK , England? DESKTOPS, but what name is it above is model not name. The GB site only show s this are not in GP Great Britain.
