try powering off, removing contents from the container, refill using less contents and push the contents to the bottom plate. Turn power on. If beeping stopped it will work. Another thing to try is turning the rubber gear on the base or bottom of the container slightly then put container back on the base, as before do this while power is off at the power point for safety. Same thing happen to my blinder, it uses 5A fuse 250V. But even if you replaced the fuse it still blow up... some other issue related that make the fuse blow

Yes, I know what it is. On the base of the blender jar (the plastic base) there are some "fingers" that must contact the base to allow operation to take place. Turn it upside down and look at the little plastic "fingers" around the outside periphery of the plastic base.

These fingers tend to break over time... mine only has two left right now, and it only works in one particular position as a result.

Rotate the blender jar one spot at a time until you are able to operate it "normally". I use it for margaritas, and it won't allow me to push the button for Frozen Drink unless the jar is in the right position.

I am going to try and find a replacement base (or entire blender jar) somewhere... or else I will finally have to retire my favorite blender of all time!

The four feet on the bottom are easily removed with a 1/4" socket slipped inside the each rubber foot fitting.

I found the answer with a bit more research on the Internet. The replacement fuse is GMA-5ABC5, available at Lowe's or Home Depot.

there are compaies around that sell seals , bearings and "O" rings see if you have such an operation in your state and contact them with the measurements of the seal

A couple of things you can check. Unscrew the glass jar from the bottom. Check to see if the grey seal is between the metal blade assembly and the glass jar. I had this issue and it turned out to be that a friend had reassembled the blender jar parts after taking it apart to clean it.

Gasket is not the problem.
Square shaft that is pressed into the turning gear is not tight and allows leaking through the connection.
Only repair is to replace the assembly with the gear drive, blades, etc. and this will take care of the leak. The "O" ring gasket is fine and holds the liquids. However the leak is around the center of the shaft that goes through the bottom.

Get it touch with a local Oster repair guy. Likely he can solve your problem, over the phone. You may need to take it to them.

Try switching the new beaters and if that does not work and if you just bought it - take it back and get another one. Take your receipt with you

Smart move. The blade assembly is almost frozen and the motor does not have enough torque.. You need to remove the blade assembly and completely clean out the bearing and reassemble after the Mr. clean operation. A lite dab of oil is also called for.

Sounds like the bearing for the blade on the bottom of the pitcher may be in need of replacement.

I do believe the motor must have burned out.
