My thermometer base station and its remote read

Mine was doing this too. I got my can of compressed air (Ultra Duster or similar) and opened the remote transmitter a tad and sprayed the temperature sensor with it. It has worked fine ever since.

Stop the beeping!

Try resetting the clock, by pressing the small button on the side of the clock, or get new batteries.

Oregon Scientific Radio controlled Thermo Clock RMR382A -

Check the channel mode that you are in. I play with the channel /memory buttons on mine and I finally get it to work. Sometimes it worksfor weeks sometimes just a day. Just glad I can get it to work - thought it was the remote unit but I was wrong.

Oregon jm828wfu stopped working, no display

Mine did the same. Remove 4 phillips screws from the rear. Carefully open and expose the innards. Remove 6 smaller phillips screws from the black box exposing the battery bay. Pull out the tiny battery tension spring and clean the contacts. Refit in reverse of removal. Refit batteries- worked OK for mine.

How do I disable the

The trick was to press the power button (the circle with a line through its top) on the very top of the device until neither NOAA by itself, nor NOAA together with that power button icon are showing. Then press Menu until one of the alarms shows up. Then use the up or down arrows until -:-- shows; that indicates the alarm is disabled. Then choose exit. The bell for that alarm should disappear. It kind of makes sense that you do not want to be dealing with NOAA in any way, since the clock is totally separate. It would have been nice if the manual had explained this.

MODEL WMR80 / WMR80A

1. Take the cover off the back of the remote sensor. 2. Set the chanel to ch.1. (I tried all three but only ch.1 worked for me). 3. Use a stick, needle, what ever you can (but you need two) and hold down the reset button on both the sensor and the clock at the same time.) If done right, it should only take a few seconds to start. The outside temp is delayed at first. Be patient.

Wireless thermo clock not reading outside temp

I've had a similar problem with another model, an Oregon Scientific Model IWA-80055 Wireless Thermo Clock, in which when I replaced the batteries in the remote sensor, the clock would not read the temperature from the remote sensor.
I found it fairly consistent to solve this by taking a battery out of place in the clock and putting it back in.  Unfortunately this also messed up the clock's time and date.  This is also in the instructions catalogue for the device, check and see if yours gives a similar solution.
