Looks like a rebadged Pioneer if it is, one of the output channels has probably been damaged and it shuts down to protect the rest of the system.
Time for service at your local HiFi dealer.
well mixing old AVR with newer TV (non told) or the reverse
does that,!
early AVR (mines packed in box attic) has no digital ports
only has RCA analog and no hdmi ports. (retired it ,just like me)
see there, that is progress. (1/2 joking)
just looked at 3770 is all analog a sea of white/red/yellow RCA jacks on the rear.. OLD tech.
no TV told but the the best TVs like LG and SAMSUNGS have both.
analog and HDMI digital jacks.
mine does. LG55xxxxxx
there are only 3 choices
new AVR, (best choice with a future)
buy older TV (hah)
buy LG with both on the rear.
se this?
D = digital
A = analog RCA pin jack inputs. video and audio too.
a far better TV has both not just HDMI.
The manual might have the code to adjust the display screen optimus sta-3500 manual on google and on the companies official website too.Or call or email customer service then.
I found the plastic button plunger on the front becomes too short to actuate the tiny on/off switch inside. Remove the cover and insert a piece or two of thickish paper (like file-folder thickness) between the plastic plunger and the switch. Let it hang back over the circuit board so it will stay in place.
It is possible that the solder connections on those transistors are bad and need to be re-soldered. This is common with components that get hot. I would also check any capacitors that are close to them since heat can dry out the capacitors. Other than that, it could be a number of other things.
(1)When the unit is switched on the relay clicks in,but no sign of life, and then five seconds later the second relay clicks on/off don't know which. This symptom is DC outputted to speaker terminals. Check any DC at power amp stage output.(2)Must have blown up. Positive. If Caps blew, your amp shutted itself down within 5 seconds due to + & - power supply creating an unbalanced +B & - B voltage not allowing your amp to turn on.
Your player is no good because laser assembly has lost ability to focus on surface of disk. If player is proprietary you are screwed in that you have to replace it thru the mfg. If not, maybe a good computer drive will work in lieu.
Not likely! Suggest swapping input connection, red RCA connector to white and white to red and see if problem swaps speakers.
If still left channel bad swap speakers left to right see if problem follows speaker.
Check balance adjustment and confirm that it is set to the middle!
Check all other inputs and confirm always no left output.
The goal is to confirm that the left channel is defective!
The service manual is MS3102101 would normally be available from Radio Shack.
Check for defective capacitors or failed solder joints on the PC board. These units are repairable even by DIY however replacement recievers are relatively inexpensive.
Hope this helps?
Switch off the mains supply before connecting/disconnecting any cables.
Disconnect all the speaker cables and switch on. If the fault clears carefully check the speaker wiring for shorts before reconnecting.
If the fault is not in the speaker wiring or speakers the amplifier will need expert attention. Faulty speaker wiring can easily damage solid state amplifiers.
