Although the drum life is at 65% it could still have a problem. It could be that the end of the drum is starved of toner or there is lumpy toner in the drum. Take out the black drum and give it a good shake then a gentle one to level the toner out and refit. Had the same with a canon unit 2 weeks ago. If still no good then a new drum is required. I bet you are using recycled drums!!

You say you have checked properties etc but have you selected mp tray from printing preferences in the driver. Remember the driver overrides the printers own settings.

You probably did not turn the power off when you changed the fuser . Turn off and take the fuser out. Turn on and wait for it to say the fuser is missing. Turn off and refit the fuser. Turn back on and see what happens. Hopefully all should be well. You do not say whether you are actually are using compatible toners or genuine

Alas you cannot clear the ram which is holding your print jobs. This is not a common problem but have seen it before. The only way to resolve it is to replace the main control board.

You need a new space motor. This incorporates the encoder disk which tells the main board where it is and should be.

As the alarm is on and steady then you most probably knocked the change lever into a position where it detects no paper loaded. The easiest way to check is to load your paper and move the change lever until the error lamp goes out!

Is printer working properly?Then why update firmware and risk winding up with a nice big paper weight when the update does not take. Make sense? You only update when you are experiencing an issue and are desperate. You have been advised and forewarned. Good luck if you proceed.
