If you recently replaced your cable modem, it is most likely that your cable modem is setup as your router. You will need to access the cable modem directly and have it set to bridge mode where it only passes the straight signal to your router.
Most people do not use an external router so cable modems are automatically set to be the router as well, thus making them a Gateway modem. The commands to do this sometimes are not available on the regular login and you might have to have a tech login under their special credentials which give higher access levels. Your router should simply start to work fine once this is done because the cable modem will disable all routing and firewalls and leave them up to your personal router.
If you plug in a laptop directly to the cable modem and can access the internet, google whatsmyip and find out if your IP starts with a 10 or a 192. If it does, you have verified that your cable modem is doing the routing and needs to be changed to bridged mode.
I bought an hp 2211x
It is possible they aren't compatible but it is more likely the outfit you bought has something missing.
Sometimes the speakers are integrated into the monitor but the connection to these is by a separate audio cable from the PC.
If the speakers aren't integrated into the monitor you will need a suitable active speaker system that should arrive with a power supply and all other leads ready wired and just need plugging into the PC.
Consulting the instruction manual is a good way of learning where to plug things in. Most conventional PCs have three jack sockets close together and some are usefully colour coded - One is audio out and another is audio in but I can't remember the third.
It is possible your new PC is entirely USB and has many USB sockets but few of the more familiar sockets. If that is the case you will need a pair of USB speakers.,,

My computer get a virus
You can try this software: Malwarebytes
You can get it from Malwarebytes.org.
I would suggest booting your computer in safe mode with networking. Download and run the file. This may fix you up.
And DO NOT run your computer without a good internet security package! That is just asking for trouble.
I have a problem about
It
is impossible to remove a hard disk password, there are no backdoor
passwords and if the computer has a Power on Password then this computer
cannot boot up.
If the hard disk is password locked then remove the
existing drive, replace it with a new hard disk, install Windows plus
the computer's device drivers and programs to get a working computer.
How to put 5mb file
Hi.
The only possible way to fit 5 MB files on 1.44 disk is by utilizing some type of zip program.
And even with that, it's going to be hard to get and 80% reduction in size so that it will fit.
Maybe 7zip, or Winzip, but there's no guarantee that they will do the job either.
Good luck.
My 16 GB USB (ativa)
Hi conchieg,
From your description of the problem, it seems that the partition table of your Hard Disk Drive may be corrupt, or was damaged by using a low-level partition editing tool. However, it's very possible to recover any lost or damaged partitions using a tool called TestDisk on Linux to resolve your issue.By default, it's not installed, and you will have to install it yourself from the terminal(Access it via CTRL+ALT+T Key combination) and type in the command:
sudo apt-get install testdisk
You will be required to enter your administrator password, and you will also need an internet connection to download the package files. It's about 200 KB in size.
To launch the application with administrator privileges( Authentication needed since you will be modifying the partition tables of your HDD), open a terminal window as illustrated above or go to Applications>Accessories>Terminal and type in the command:
sudo testdisk
The application will run in the terminal window.Steps for recovering any lost partitions:
1.Choose create log file
2.Select which device to use(It may be /dev/sdb , but use the size of the HDD to guide you).
3.Under partition type,select INTEL/PC Partition
Choose 'Analyze' then 'Proceed' then select 'Search'. TestDisk should now scan your device for partitions (If it hasn't already discovered them). This may take a little while.
TestDisk should now list a series of partitions
Select the partitions you want to recover and select Apply.
Note that for the changes to be effective, you must write the changes back to the partition table.
NB: If you are unsure of anything in this solution, please give your external hard disk drive to an experienced computer repair specialist and have him/her do the partition recovery for you.
Don't risk data loss when it can be avoided.
Hope this solves your problem. Have a great time ahead.
