Sounds like the battery acid has destroyed the connection for the wiring. Not sure if it can be fixed. If you cleaned thr terminals thoroughly it may be the wiring. Good luck

There should be paperwork in the box that has manufacturer contact information. If not, you can probably google the manufacturer name. You might even be able to find the parts that you are needing on ebay or some other retail source. Maybe take it back where you purchased it and exchange it for one that has all of the parts.

Apparently, the Mickey Mouse ride-on train and tracks, seems to have been manufactured by Kiddieland International Ltd. (in Hong Kong.)

I have not found instructions for the Mickey Mouse ride-on train, other than it uses 6 D batteries. I hope you have already checked the batteries and inserted new ones.
