Hi, Nissan might have designed a block to radiowave initiation of engine in order to stop hackers from being able to start and move your car wirelessly. Please call Nissan and ask them if this is the case or whether the remote is just not compatible with your car. Thank you.

Which light? What type of car? Anything from a bad bulb to wiring or lack of power to light or a bad ground. If it is the service engine light on a car with the OBDll system it may be that the power fuse is bad. It usually is the fuse that powers the accessory outlet . Check your car manual to see where your fuses are located and check that fuse. Hook up a code reader and if it does not work than that could be your problem.

They are there look in under the bonnet down behind where the wires go in ,that area.

Metal cover it will have a chain ,plastic cover it will have a belt,the chain is a major repair needing special tools.

You don't have to replace the ECM unless there is a problem with it. New keys will have to be programmed into the ECM and that is probably something that should be done by the dealer. The keys and programming are going to be pretty expensive.

Could be clutch pack problem ,which will need a rebuild.

Remove door inner handle window winder arm rest if fitted remove door panel and undo the glass from window regulator turn on its side and lift upwards.

use voltmeter to verify if the alternator is good. engine off: measure voltage of battery-for fully charged & good battery it should read 12.++ volts. start engine & while running measure battery voltage again. if alternator is good it should read 13.++ to 14 volts.

suggest you get a free scan for trouble code from autozone, advance auto part or other auto parts that gives free scan. also check your fuel system, you may need new fuel filter.

Need more info But off the top of my head it sounds like a clogged Catalytic converter that is restricting the exhaust causing back pressure to the engine cylinders and loss of power.

might need an adapter fitting.

Sounds like it is starting to lock up. Take the accessary belt off and try to turn the compressor by hand and see if it feels rough. If not, try the starter, if it still wont crank , hit the starter lightly with a hammer. Then if it starts, thats the problem. By hitting the ac compressor you may have been jolting it enough that it shook the starter enough to make contact.

is airbag light on? could be a bad clock spring
