The controller and the car must be matched. Sounds like both are matched using the same frequency. Look at the instructions for changing the controller and car to a different frequency Then change one car and controller. try here

there is no resistance in a fuse
it is designed to blow when a short circuit happens after the fuse to protect the circuit
fix the problem first

sadly toy companies do not provide schematics. fixers have to figure them out for their selves

Buy a brand new one with instructions herehttp://aeif.scalemodel.net/fsid.aspx?id=131633602115&sid=2&c=487

The batteries have to be in the locomotive, and I would expect a removable door underneath or from the rear of the loco.

depends what the railway is representing. It matters, for example, whether you are in the US or Europe.
I recommend that you contact the company to get an unambiguous answer

Further reading on G-gauge can be found here
scale Wikipedia the free encyclopedia from which you will understand why it is not straight forward to answer your question with information available. In the US, the article says,
" 'Gauge One' scaled at 1:32 (3/8" to the foot) used to model standard gauge trains of 4 ft 8 1?2 in (1,435 mm) standard gauge gauge."
hope this helps (a bit)

Not sure what instructions you need, but the setup is very simple.
1. Put your track together
2. Attach the track power connector by slipping it under the track and pushing, then lift up the other side. This will make the two metal contacts connect to the track.
3. Plug the connector from the power pack into the track module (It should only go one way)
4. Plug the control box (looks like a telephone cord) into the track module, Will only go one way
5. Place the locomotive on the track.
6. Place the Treetop Tender on the track (you need both to make it run)
7. Connect the large connector from the treetop tender to the loco
8. Turn on the command module and press forward ...

You should now be running in circles ...

Hope this helps...
