The error code of light blinking 6 times suggests it's the lamp and you have replaced it. Possibly remove it and reinstall it. Those lamps get very hot and fingerprints can leave an oil on the bulb which heats up and can destroy the bulb. Use a paper towel when handling them. Make sure the vents are not covered with dust and the unit isn't too hot. Do you have the manual?
