What is nec error code 0x0242
As far as i remember from my times @ Nortel, which have the same and even more advanced @#!@#@!! code,
You:
- have to check your dbase for double entries in DSTN / equivalent;
- check hidden entries /
- check reserved entries (also possible hidden values) ;
- check administrative entries; anyhow, leave a reply,
there are some extreme remedies ; just for in case of...
in each case, bevore any changes: backup config and dbase inc settings,
- Last resource: reset to default settings and re-config... but only after:
(RTFM !!!!) (also between the lines, )

My usb port on monitor isn't working. how can i fix this?
Hi,
The USB ports on the monitor will work only if you connect the monitor via a USB cable to your PC/Laptop's USB port. Sounds awkward. Doesn't it? There must be a USB cable with flat socket on one end and trapezium shape jack on one end. It should be in the box which the monitor came in. The USB ports in the monitor are just another extended USB ports for your PC/Laptop. If you can't find the cable mentioned above, it is the same cable you connect to a printer, scanner,........ In some cases you might need to install a driver which should also come along with monitor. Mostly you don't need to install.

Nec lapop beeping problem
At what stage of the computer being on is it beeping? If it is beeping when it is starting there might be a hardware problem. If it is beeping while windows or your OS is running it might be an overheating issue or again a hardware issue.
Why did my screen turn light blue lcd1712 ?
Please try to connect your computer to a different monitor. It may be that you're experiencing the notorious "blue screen of death", but you will be able to determine whether that's the case by trying another monitor. Please keep me posted. Thanks!
Why won't my NEC Versa P7300 microphone work?
Right-click on the little speaker in your tray (lower-right), and click "Recording devices". If it shows your Microphone as "Not plugged in", maybe you should connect the connection, and make sure you have it plugged in the correct place.
How do i factory reset my NEC LCD1712 Monitor?
Here's some tricks I would try...
1. Verify the monitor's power cord is plugged firmly into the wall outlet and the back of the monitor.
2. Verify the monitor cable is firmly connected to the computer and the monitor.
3. Verify that you have turned the monitor power switch on.
4. If the power light on the monitor is not on, test the wall outlet (plug in a light or something you know works).
5. If the power light on the monitor is not on, try a different power cord.
6. If the power light is on and yellow or orange or flashing, but nothing displays, or the display is incorrect, borrow a monitor from a friend. If that works, your monitor probably needs replaced.
7. Also, you could try your display on a friend's computer. If it doesn't work, your monitor probably needs replaced. If it works properly on your friends computer, the problem may be with your computers video output port, motherboard video chip (or video card, if you have one), or drivers.

How to download audio driver on my nec pc lr500bd?
Hello, you have two options :
1) Go to Device Manager>click Sound>right click on Device Sound > click update software,next window ( wait the checking time).
2) Other option same drive, go to Device Manager > Sound and Hardware > right click (device sound) > Properties > when other windows is open) > click Drive ,go down left side > click Drive Details ( copy the properties and manufacture company ) and go to webside manufacture ,find you device and the drive you need it update.
Other option, installer specific program to made drive update,like Driver Booster is my favorite. Driver Booster Free
