Cant Format my mp3 player
Not knowing how you saved the files and not knowing how you wrote the CD makes it hard to answer. BUT... I can say that the MPMAN could not read the disk and assumed that the disk needed formated which would lead to great confusion to any following device. I doubt that the device that you wrote the disk on can read it any more either.
Is the device you are using a disk or a USB or a memory card or what?
Sounds like a situation of compatibility between systems which was then confused by double formatting the device.
Start over or even better, using the media of "dad's", try to add the files to that from your device, see if that will work. My guess it won't but you can try.
The mp3 part is compatible, the media isn't.

I have an MP-cs187 how do I charge it?
I beleive this model of MP3 player are not rechargeable as you require the use of an external battery for it. It takes a AA battery.
You may use AA rechargeable battery but you will require a charger for these.
