It could be something as simple as 'solar gain' adding heat through glass facing the afternoon sun....or maybe the remote is not in a location that senses the average temperture within the room. Maybe the remote is located in a slight draft entering the room. If the remote was kept above a computer tower, the opposite would be the case.... the heat from the tower would keep the control thinking its warmer in the room than it is. The result would be a much colder room.

Supposedly if you have the old filter you can wash it with baking soda. I can't locate the parts. You might have to contact a factory authorized dealer to purchase the filter if it requires replacement.

if unit is hard wired try turning circuit breaker off and then back on

your main board more so the pipe sensor connected to it, is defective. if the pipe senor can be changed it will work but in most cases the whole main-board will have to be changed as well.

Cooler than normal discharge air temperatures are kind of nature of the beast for an inverter compressor system. An inverter compressor has essentially an infinitely variable output due the varying speed of the compressor. When is is running slower the transfer of heat is less than when it is running full bore. Is your outside coil dirty wash it this may help. Sounds like your head pressure is getting to high and the compressor is kicking out on thermal overload.

clean the filter first then take a shop vac and suck out your condenstate drain line on the outside. Look at the inside coil to see if its dirty if it is clean it.

If you put you phone on to camera mode. Hold the remote with the top facing the camera into the phone. Press on and off button on remote. If your remote is working. You should see a light come on through your mobile phone screen. If it is not. A new remote is required. I use a universal remote.
