In order to "drop" a gas tank, you should remove a much fuel as possible before beginning. Once empty, jack up the vehicle (making sure it is secure and safe) and then unscrew the two straps used to hang the tank to the vehicle's undercarriage. Once the tank is down, please refer to the attached videos for the actual fuel pump removal and replacment.

You will find bolt,s or straps holding it to the frame of the car.Remove the filler pipe first remove fuel line to the front of the car remove wiring harness to fuel pump.

There are 3 bolts. You'll need a LOT of socket extensions and a car hoist!
and a lot of time and patients.

But an even better idea is to just check the wire connections make sure they are well connected and no gaps on the female connectors if you suspect a bad alt.

Because in most cases the routing will not work without the pulley for the compressor being in use. That's why some engines have a dummy pulley available to use in place of the compressor.
Not using the compressor pulley can cause the belt to drive a pulley the wrong direction, or not have the grooved side of the belt on a pulley.

Several things to look at. First the blower motor may be wearing out. The vents may be plugged with paper or material that the blower has picked up. The vent tubes may be off or damaged. There is no cabin air filter, but the evaporator coils may be plugged with dirt and other material. The blend door may not be closing all the way. A/C unit may be low or refrigerant.
