It shows no picture but i can hear the words

Check if you got a picture somewere in the dark screen. If you got anything moving but very dark, then you need a new invertor. If its totally dead you need a new card inside the tv. Its a job for a pro.

I have a memorex. I am getting sound but no picture. When powered on, the memorex sign shows up but then no picture just sound. Also makes a slight screeching sound for approx 10 sec. when powered on.

I have a horizontal line through the tv with no picture

By now you've probably replace this with a Flat Screen LCD, LED or Plasma unit. But the answer to your original problem is a loss of vertical drive. Possibly just a bad solder joint @ the vertical IC.

No sound on regular station

Check its system settings. If the TV is a multi-system one, set the system status to 'Auto'. Refer its user manual for details.

Memorex blu ray dvd play says no card

I was able to fix the 'NoCard" error on the Memorex 2520. On the remote control, find the "popup menu" button. This is located on the right hand side of the remote, above the pause and below right of the enter button. This button reveals a "change drive" menu. Highlight 'BD', press enter and you will be done. I am assuming that someone mistakenly changed the drive previously to "SD Card".
