It sounds like your missing a driver. The best thing to do is check your computer manufacturers website for the chipset drivers, or if you built you own computer-- go to your motherboard manufacturers website to download the drivers you need. Ensure that the drivers you are downloading are for Windows 7 (be sure to double check that the company has released drivers for that operating system as well). Hope this helps!

Hi Run a chkdsk from the command prompt, once you have done this see if you can get on in safe mode and then restore it to a time before the update attempted to install Cliff C

If you pc is beeping when you turn it is most likely one or both (if you have 2) ram chips that have gone bad. Best way to check is to shut down, unplug pc, hold power button for a few seconds, open case and remove 1 chip (if you have more than 1), turn pc on if you still have at least 1 ram chip installed. if it does not beep you have taken the bad one out. If it beeps then shut down again and put ram back in and take out the other one. Turn on pc, hopefully this will resolve the problem.

Did you replace the hard drive with another one from another computer ? This is an error that mostly comes when a 32 bit computer tries to load a 64 bit program.

Hi If the other side cannot be removed can you remove the front panel I have a pc and to access the drives I have to remove the front of the PC and then I can access the optial drives to slide them out, if not the the other side of your case must be removerble some how Cliff Cook MCP

When you say "fan" do you mean case fan or CPU fan? Almost sounds like the CPU fan is inoperative and the system is shutting down on CPU overtemp, then trying to restart.

Maybe you have a faulty fan? Try replacing the fan.

Becouse you have installer the O.S. Windows 8 , go to right egde down or up > click on Setting > next > update and recovery > click on the second option { recovery } ,choose the option number two [ REMOVE EVERYTHING AND RE-INSTALLER WINDOWS } and now you can insert windows 7 disc, good luck.
