Each padlock has a different combination. If you lost yours, that's reall bad luck. Take it to a good locksmith, maybe he can find out. If pretends to charge you too much, get a new padlock

If it's a Master Lonk that the part that the key is inserted comes off and us put on upside down than the key may not fit in to unlock. If it's close, clamping the key part And cutting the rest off to get into loch to unlock. Good luck. (I've done this before)

It's not easy to fix this problem, because these locks do not shim open and it's not obvious how a person could figure out the old combo. I was able to loosen and remove the security screws, disassemble mine and repair it. They are very tricky to reassemble and it took me hours to find the spring that was out of position. The root problem was the lock did not clear when the shackle was pushed in. Until I figured that out, it would take up to 30 tries to get it open. The security screws are Metric - so you can replace them with regular screws until you get it working. If you do open the case, there are a lot of small parts inside, including a bunch of springs.

Make sure you push the shackle down firmly to clear the lock and try the combo again. It is possible to open it by trial and error, but not easy. I have removed the security screws and repaired one, but it was tricky to reassemble. The problem with mine was a spring that slipped out of position and the lock wouldn't reset correctly. There are a lot of parts inside, so chances of getting it to work correctly are not good unless you're really good with complex mechanisms and puzzles.
