There are a number of reasons a refrigerator does not cool. Make sure that the condenser fins are clean. Is the passage from the freezer side blocked not letting the cold air enter? The oil in a refrigerator is contained in the coolant lines and they are sealed. No oil can leak out if the lines are intact. That has to be something else.

Hi, After cleaning out the machine, please double check that it's not attempting to cool any object that's extremely hot. Also, you might want to switch power outlets and test the cooling again. Either condensation or a crack in the ice bin is the most likely, but it could also be a lack of cleaning / descaling and that water is spraying inside and finding its way outside of the case. I have had a career dealing with icemaker issues. :>)
