My M-audio FireWire 410 doesn't work

It sounds like you may be experiencing a configuration issue with your M-Audio FireWire 410 audio interface. Here are a few steps you can try to troubleshoot the issue:
  1. Check the connections: Make sure that the FireWire 410 is securely connected to your computer and that all cables are properly plugged in. If the connections are loose or faulty, it can cause problems with the audio output.
  2. Restart the device: Sometimes, restarting the audio interface can resolve issues with the audio output. To do this, disconnect the FireWire 410 from your computer, wait a few seconds, and then reconnect it.
  3. Update the drivers: It is possible that the drivers for your FireWire 410 may be out of date or incompatible with your operating system. To update the drivers, visit the M-Audio website and download the latest drivers for your device. Once the drivers are installed, restart your computer and try using the FireWire 410 again.
  4. Check the settings: Make sure that the FireWire 410 is selected as the default audio device in your operating system's audio settings. You can access these settings by going to Control Panel > Hardware and Sound > Sound. Under the Playback and Recording tabs, select the FireWire 410 and click the Set Default button.
If these steps do not resolve the issue, it is best to contact M-Audio support for further assistance. They should be able to provide you with specific guidance for troubleshooting the problem with your FireWire 410.

No, keyboards are not repairable in that manner. You need to reboot to safe mode and see if the problem is gone or check the device manager for errors related to the keyboard.

Playing audio from external sound device.

I think you need to change another audio recorder. Maybe you can have a try Leawo Music Recorder. Leawo Music Recorder is an easy to use but practical audio recording app that could get music off the internet for free for you. It could record online audio file from YouTube, Pandora, Last.FM, Napster, Spotify, GUBA, NPC, MySpace, etc. The other function that makes this online streaming audio recorder program top others is that it could automatically download and add song tags to recorded audio files, including song artist, song album, album artwork, song name, etc. Step 1. Launch the audio recorder on your PC and you will go to the recording main interface. Click the "Audio Source" icon on the main interface to set audio source firstly. To record online audio and record streaming audio, select "Record Computer Audio" option. music-recorder-audio-source-settings-t-ykpiva35ohwbucurpfoxfg03-2-0_1.jpg Step 2... I installed this on a Windows 7 64 bit system.

Was your machine working fine? If so, WHY did you do an update? Updates are never a guarantee and fraught with many issues - U only update when there is a valid reason and it is absolutely necessary - then you cross your fingers and risk it! U have learned the hard way and now all you can do is attempt to undue what you did. U can try a system repair of your OS since the system restore did not do the trick. And if the repair does not work, and you do not have a backup of your drive, you will have to wipe the drive and reload everything. Have fun and good luck!

When I record with my m-audio mobile pre USB, there is no latency issues with recording but there is a delay in the headphones if I turn them up to hear myself while recording. How do I fix this? I'm

Have a read at this article. I assume you are using ASIO4ALL if not then you should. http://www.image-line.com/support/FLHelp/html/recording_audio_USBmic.htm Specifically this part: Note about latency: USB microphones generally only allow you to hear the sound being recorded after it has passed through FL Studio. As the latency of USB microphones depends on the ASIO4ALL latency settings, there may be a troublesome delay between the sound made and it being reproduced from your speakers or headphones. For example, low latency monitoring is particularly important to vocalists as high latencies cause a distracting echo effect. The only solution to this problem is to lower your buffer length settings (there are limits) or obtain a new soundcard with direct-monitoring.

My sound card is distorted how can i repair it

Be careful and take off the side panel to the PC tower to expose the inner parts of the computer and there you find that your sound card is inside attached to the motherboard (The Mainboard) get a star or flat head screwdriver and unscrew the screw, slowly put out your sound card (Don't forget to unplug your audio wires first) then what I do is get a Q-tip and dab it in some alcohol then just roll it on the paint leg or napkin and wipe off the little gold tips were the card slides in from BOTH SIDES and also check to see if there is a lot of dust inside your PC its pretty good that you blow it out that way it doesn't overheat as well now just put the card back in and see if that works and if not then you most likely need a driver for it and for that go to the website of the soundcard and go to support and drivers for your sound card version...Hope this helped thanks

Why sound suddenly corrupted in win or DAW.

That sounds like a buffer issue. Have you tried adjusting the buffers in your recording software? Also virus scanners are known to hog resources and cause garbled audio. Maybe try disabling your virus scanner? Good luck..
